Serving

At church, we are excited about bringing people who want to share in contact with ways to help others.  These are some ways you can help right now!(and in the future!)

To get in contact with the person in charge of each project, call the church office:

Produce Distribution

Every second Thursday, we distribute food from the Akron/Canton Regional Food Bank in our parking lot. Food Distribution is from 8am-12pm and photo ID is required.  The distribution is drive through and we ask you remain in your vehicle.

Emergency Food Pantry

We have an Emergency Food Pantry for those in need.  Canned goods brought to Church in November to go in Community Christmas Food Baskets. Check the most recent newsletter to find out what item to bring. Monetary donations are always welcome to keep our Pantry stocked.

Greeters

Help is always needed to greet people as they come to worship, and to serve as usher.

Prayer Chain & Prayer Room

But you need not pray all alone! Minerva Methodist has a prayer chain of committed people that will lift your request to God.
To start the Prayer Chain call or email the church office.

Minerva Methodist has a Prayer Room ministry for purposefully and constantly lifting up the needs of our church, our community, and the world to God.

Prayer Room workers are trained to pray for needs, expect to see answers, and be faithful to bring requests before God during the time they set aside in the prayer room.  The Prayer Room is open during the hours the church is open and you are welcome to come in and pray there.  If someone in the room has left the sign on the door please respect their need to come before God in solitude.
